In Honors Core II, the biggest and arguably the most important assignment we did was the semester-long research project. We were assigned to a group with similar majors and a faculty member that is doing research related to our field. Although this project really had nothing to do with my major, I learned a lot.

Through this assignment, I got to work on my teamwork and group communication skills. We not only had to work as a team to get the project done, but we also had to present as a group in a way that flowed together. During the presentations, I got to work on my public speaking and diction of words. Public speaking has proved to be an important skill as both of my internships have some form of intern fair where we present our work that was completed throughout the summer.
